I'm Dylan, a freelance sound engineer with a passion for music and audio. I work on a range of different projects on a day to day basis.
I often work with artists to achieve sonic goals for their tracks or performances.
I teach Sound and AV at Access Creative College in Norwich too.
When I'm not being a sound engineer, I write & play music; I am an avid musician in a band, and have played in a range of different venues, so on top of the engineer's perspective, I have experience of what it's like to be on the stage end of a show, or in the booth laying down a track. This enables me to work with musicians well to achieve a great sounding recording, or show.
Between 2019 and 2022 I completed an BSc. in Audio and Music Technology with Nottingham Trent University.
Some of my qualifications and achievements as a sound engineer include:
- Winner of the Total Production International Magazine 2019 Breakthrough Technical Talent Award
- Audinate Dante Audio Networking Levels 1 & 2 • Pass
- IPAF Certification for PAV Vehicles • Pass
- RSL Rockschool Extended Diploma in Music Technology • Pass with Distinction Star
